Flat Joe's first visit is over and he is now heading out to Cumming, Georgia! Paige did a great job of taking care of Flat Joe and did a wonderful write up on her blog. She has chosen Susan G. The Flat Joe project is officially begun. First stop is Anniston, Alabama. Paige has accepted the opportunity to be his first caretaker. I am looking forward to hearing from her and seeing where flat Joes adventure's take him.


Here is some other information on the flat Joe project.

 

All caretakers posted will have the opportunity to choose a charity where I will donate $5.00 for every sale that is made between the time of posting their story and the next one.

Also anyone putting the words "flat joe" in one of the instruction to seller boxes during checkout when purchasing from my shop will get a 10% discount refunded to them after payment is confirmed.

I wanted to do a variation of the Flat Stanley Project. If you are unfamiliar with Stanley here is a link to tell you all about him. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_Stanley I would like to start out by sending out a hand stamped necklace (we'll call it Flat Joe) to someone who, if I sent you the necklace, would be willing to write me back and tell me a little about yourself and about Flat Joe's adventures with you. If you have a website or blog you would be able to pitch your site. But I would like it to be more than just that. I would love to see where Flat Joe's adventures take him and hear all about the people that he will visit. As an incentive to take care of Flat Joe I will be offering a 25% discount, with an opportunity for a larger discount, to all of his caretakers for writing in their story and passing him along.
