I've had this idea in my head for awhile now and thought it would be fun to create this new design and share it with you.
It is the door that's circled.



Starting with a blank piece of wax I used a saw and file to shape the wax into the door shape I wanted.

  


Using a heated heart shaped stamp I melted a heart impression into the door. Then using wax wire I added a door handle and hinges.

   


I then carved a matching piece to fit behind the door. This will be the piece that can be hand stamped on.



I have now gone as far as I want to in the wax. I am going to need to cast these in silver to continue working on them.
